The ultimate holiday indulgence! These rich, chocolatey brownies are infused with a refreshing hint of candy cane and boosted with collagen for a festive treat that's as nourishing as it is delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup black cocoa + additional 2 tbsp
- 2 scoops youtheory® Collagen Powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/3 cup chocolate chips + 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp peppermint oil
- 1-2 crushed candy canes
Directions
- Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine almond butter, coconut oil, black cocoa, and collagen. Stir until well combined. Then add in maple syrup and peppermint oil, stir and set aside.
- In a small microwave safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in 20 second increments until no clumps remain.
- Pour in the melted chocolate into the batter and then add in the final 2 tbsp of cocoa powder. Stir until a thick batter forms.
- Pour into a parchment lined loaf pan and top with crushed candy canes.
- Top with flakey sea salt if you’d like. Freeze overnight and enjoy! Store in an airtight container in freezer.
